Hi, I’m Pouya Ghadirizade, a Visual Effects Artist and Senior Compositor with a strong background in solving technical challenges and building visually compelling shots. I specialize in compositing and Matt Paint, working closely with teams to ensure both the creative and technical aspects of every shot align seamlessly. My main tools are Nuke, Photoshop, After Effects, and PFTrack, and I have hands-on experience in both 2D and 3D workflows.I bring a hybrid of artistic vision and technical precision to each project. I've been part of various film,series & commercial productions I’m always open to remote collaborations and new challenges, whether local or global. Experienced 2D Supervisor with a strong background in Digital Compositing, matte painting and concept art. Skilled in leading teams, managing workflows, and ensuring seamless communication between artists and production. Responsible for task distribution, quality control, and final delivery of VFX shots.
As a Senior Compositor and Matte Paint artist, I collaborate closely with directors and supervisors to craft visually compelling shots that serve the story. My responsibilities include:
- Compositing multi-pass CG and live-action footage using Nuke
- Creating digital matte paintings and environment
- On-set supervision for continuity and VFX plate preparation
- Workflow optimization and pipeline scripting when needed
I’ve contributed to multiple projects ranging from feature films to commercials, working both in 2D and 3D environments with a focus on visual beauty and technical precision.
As a photo speciallist Supervisor I was responsible for leading the team, training the team, and quality control of the highest quality outputs, as well as project management.
